MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric
Level 4 FETC Short-Term Insurance
Higher Certificate in Insurance
Post-matric qualification is an advantage (BComm Risk/Accounting, BBA)
RE5
Understanding of the insurance and brokerage industry and environment
Sound knowledge and understanding of personal lines insurance
FAIS requirements of a representative
Legal requirements of the insurance industry
Technical insurance knowledge (underwriting)
