Qualification and Experience
Minimum qualification: Relevant commercial or technical honors degree.
5-8 years of related experience, with 2-3 years in assessing and closing transactions.
Declared competent in two due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical, or Financial).
Grounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines.
Experience in interpreting financial statements.
Sector-specific knowledge would be advantageous.
Roles and Responsibilities

Financial / Shareholder Returns:
Evaluate and structure transactions with precision using financing instruments.
Conduct thorough due diligence investigations for finance applications.
Design and negotiate comprehensive deals, considering financial, EHS, legal, and other critical aspects.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with deals.
Actively participate in due diligence teams.
Ensure strategic alignment of deals with unit objectives and industry development goals.
Manage account functions up to the first drawdown.
Craft and submit credit proposals.
Ensure meticulous client data management.

Internal / Operational Processes:
Evaluate applications for finance across financial, technical, and marketing disciplines.
Optimize deals to meet unit objectives and contribute to industry development.
Mentor and coach Business Analysts for growth and success.

Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with enquirers, applicants, and portfolio clients.
Collaborate seamlessly with different SBUs and departments to fulfil process requirements.
Elevate service levels and communication to achieve client service excellence.
Actively liaise, communicate, and promote the unit externally.

Learning, Leadership & People Growth:
Drive personal development to enhance competencies.
Participate in knowledge sharing within the team and cross-functional areas.
Mentor and coach Business Analysts, contributing to their growth.
