I can confidently state that as a result of my commitment to work, quick learning, and adaptability, I was exposed to many facts of Human Resource Development. It brought understanding and enabled me to put things to perspective while compelling me to be open minded or think outside the box. It was during this period that I learned to apply my mind into everything I do as human resource development challenges cannot be resolved on the basis of text book knowledge only. I’m a Vaal University of Technology graduate who studied Human Resource Development also known as Management of Training. I worked as a Youth Practitioner at Inqaba Yokulinda which is an NGO and I currently work for the Department of Health as an Intern in a revenue division. I am a diligent worker who has high work ethics, eagerness to learn, reliable and have excellent personal skills. I am an individual who is a go-getter, goal driven, self- motivated and will achieve and exceed all set objectives. I’m flexible, I take opportunities as they are presented to me and I find pleasure in working in a challenging environment. I may add that I am an enthusiastic being who works well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. I am involved in many projects which involves SAQA which is known as Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practises (ODETDP), this afforded me the opportunity to engage with people (both internal and external YOUTH) on various levels to represent the organisation. This built my confidence and desire to learn and adapt quickly. I successfully and timely executed projects that were assigned to me and wrote relevant reports in line with my duty. I believe that I have the right attitude and possess adequate skills and experience that will enable me to make positive contributions towards the growth and achievement of the objectives of the Department of Communications.
