I am self-employed and although UCT Consulting is a (pty) ltd I am also available to render my services in my personal capacity. I am therefore not in the market to be employed on a full-time basis, but rather on a part-time or contract basis. I am able to assist on a contract basis or on a as-and-when required basis by other consultants in need of assistance in the following fields: Traffic Engineering Traffic Impact Assessments or related traffic studies or evaluations Roads planning Access or intersection analysis Traffic and transport Engineering Traffic Signal design and implementation Geometric design Roads design Stormwater design Platform and Parking design Construction management Construction supervision The terms of the appointment may vary as per the needs of the employer: The hours therefore can either be full-days or a specific number of hours per day, per week, per month or as and when required; In terms of travel distance, it is dependent on the number of times travelled per week but typically I think the following should be in order: For daily commuting 50-100km Alternatively commuting 2-3 times per week I would say 200km from Pretoria is preferred. I would also consider working away from home for short durations at a time, depending on the location and time period.
