I have acquired fifteen (15) years working experience in managing varying budget sizes projects in Building Construction, Civil Works, Mechanical and Electrical projects, Rail and Pipeline projects using agreed quantity surveying standards as well as performance and management practice. I am currently the Quantity Surveyor for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) at the Medupi Power Station. My career objective is to provide an accurate and excellent Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Cost Consultancy Service, assisting to maximise the potential and stimulate the growth, by ensuring maximum value for money on the projects. I have acquired strong leadership and management skills, with core technical skills in pre and post quantity surveying services including: feasibility estimating, quantification and costing of construction work, documentation (preparation of tender documents), tender assessment/analysis, tender reporting, sub-contract procurement management, procurement management and reporting, change management (assessment of compensation event / variation order) contractual negotiation, cost management, risk management, certifying payments, cost verification, price adjustments/ escalation calculation, final account audits, and final account agreements.
