I am an experienced bookkeeper with only an entry level qualification however my experience and work ethic has allowed me to break boundaries and work in roles that would ordinarily be difficult however I have always managed to flourish over the years. I started out as an accounts intern while studying towards a Junior Bookkeeping Certificate for a training and education company and I was fortunate to have been exposed extensively to Creditors/Accounts Payables and Debtors/Accounts Receivables. After 3 years and 10 months I received an offer to work for an Accounting, Tax, Auditing and Business Services firm, Sollertia Consulting Group, which I was excited to up a position as the firms bookkeeper/Junior Accountant and this is where I learnt the full functions of many different companies and most important the role of an accountant in a robust environment that is ever changing. In A ugust of 2019 I received an offer from The Cradle Boutique Hotel for an assistant financial manager role in a far more laid back environment surrounded by nature and after 4 months at The Cradle I was offered a Reservations Manager position which had its challenges as I had never worked in hospitality before before but i managed to flourish in the position until i got laid off due to the effects the Covid - 19 pandemic on our economy especially the hospitality sector.
