Uthman holds an MBA (Cum Laude) and BSc. Engineering (Mechanical) degrees from the University of Cape Town. He has 5+ years’ experience in the FMCG industry, where he occupied various engineering-related roles, as well as acting as the GM of Operations for a sauce/condiments plant. In addition to this, Uthman has also gained 2+ years’ experience in the Mezzanine Finance and Private Equity investment industries. During this time, he has gained exposure to private debt, private equity, and venture capital investments. He is proficient in investment analysis, financial analysis, and financial modeling (LBO & DCF). These skills coupled with his continuous improvement and operations experience make Uthman a dynamic investment analyst that can identify optimization and growth opportunities for current and potential investments that will create value for all stakeholders. Uthman continually strives to improve and enhance his skills; this is evidenced by his commitment to obtaining the CFA qualification and designation.
