Experienced Sales Distribution with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. Skilled in Warehouse Operations, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, and Distribution. Strong operations professional with a National Diploma in Logistics Management focused in Business Administration, Management and Operations from University of Johannesburg. I started my career at SAB at Standerton DC in 2009. I was a Warehouseman. With the size of the DC, I was an all-rounder in the warehouse, from receiving stock to managing inventory and issuing and check stock before despatching, housekeeping. Daily and monthly counts were a standard process to manage and control stock. In this role I was responsible for product quality and ensuring that the packaging is not damaged while we move the stock around for stacking and splitting. Also, during this period, I had was working with different types of material and pack sizes which all required a different way of handling and consideration when managing them. Doing all this in a safe way. I had spent 3 years in Standerton where we achieved Silver Award. Prior to having worked at SAB, I had roles working in the warehouse at Trident Steel where my role as a Stock Controller was mainly receiving and despatching, I would also do the daily count to know what is available on floor. At Golden Neo Life I held a role of Inventory Planning and in this role I responsible for forecasting and issuing of pick plans. At Imfuyo Project I held a role of Storeman and during this period I was receiving and despatching and would also prepare a bill of material for the assemblers to build and assemble. I had spent almost 5 years as a Load Plan Expeditor. In this role I was responsible for tracking planned deliveries and ensuring that they get delivered to the right customer at the right time. I was part of the initial team when the company restructured and in 2012 formed a centralised planning. I was expediting for District North Coast where I had some personal milestone with the team. Seeing Springfield DC consecutively winning gold awards and Empangeni DC been the most improved DC when I had innovatively implemented the use 26 Pallet trailers to deliver crew volume in the mountainous region and maximising the use of the Pub-Trailer on the Rigid Trucks. And in 2017 I was promoted to a Distribution/Logistics Planner for District Central South. I had spent almost 3 years in the role of Distribution/Logistics Planner. In the role I was responsible for the daily load planning, manage and review load plan execution by the expeditor, Customer Master Data Accuracy and review productivity measures, just to mention few of my key responsibilities. We use planning system tools like FLO system, WinRoute system, Despatch Manager to plan and review plans to ensure that the routes are cost effective. The effective and productive operations is best managed by effective planning and fully utilising available resources. All combined, I have 11 years’ experience in the FMCG industry. I have a National Diploma in Logistics Management which I studied at University of Johannesburg. I hope to be granted an opportunity to further demonstrate how best I can be a best fit in the company and benefit the team based on the skill, knowledge and experience I have. Regards, Everlast Selahle,
