Motivational Letter – Thabile GN Masilela My life’s purpose and work are linked to the development of young children during and after their school careers, mainly their language abilities and growth throughout school. Firstly, I have 4 years’ experience in the Customer Service field, a field where I ensure that clients’ needs are met in a timely manner. This role has given me practical experience in managing and problem solving with clients in all 9 provinces of South Africa. Secondly, I have assisted in Mentorships Programmes which equip young people with the skills needed to enter the working world. I can testify that 100% of those candidates were offered permanent positions prior to the conclusion of the Learnership. Lastly, I recently obtained my 120-Hour TEFL Online Certification through the Professional Development Institute. I have the formal educational background that will assist in creating real-world solutions in the English and Learning field, globally. The work that I have put into the mentorship program has prepared me for this role. My responsibilities in the program were to offer support through their Tracker Customer Service journey, ensure that they are equipped with relevant knowledge and to challenge with real-world scenarios. The values that both the mentees and I portrayed were; taking responsibility, demonstrating good time management, problem solving, celebrating small wins, trust, patience and encouragement throughout. Both the mentorship program and my customer service working environment also required someone who is multilingual and culturally flexible – being a native English speaker, as well as having experience in satisfying clients both corporate and individual are aspects that I am exceptionally confident in. I have been in South Africa all my life. I have, however travelled to the UAE for leisure. Travelling has given me real-life discoveries to some of the topics that interest me. It is something that I have always been interested in and will continue doing for as long as possible. Working for this company, which the job post has laid out comprehensively will make use of the skills that I have acquired throughout my working and personal life experiences. I am confident in my ability to speak and consequently teach students from different backgrounds, educational experiences and learning abilities. My experience in mentoring, customer services and training, as well as the values such as respect, patience, trust and not forgetting fun that I live by are also a key strength of mine in carrying out this role.
