I believe I am part of a new generation of African leaders. My professional experience comprises over 12 years in accounting, audit and corporate finance, in the freight and logistics, and also the manufacturing sector, where I have served in a number of senior financial management positions with companies in South Africa and Mozambique, and have had invaluable experience in Asia, particularly in China. More recently I have been involved in investment appraisal, project management and structured finance for various projects, most notably in healthcare and renewable energy. I believe I could add the most value to an organisation engaging in and driving growth and expansion into African markets. I have a strong passion for emerging markets, especially Asia and Africa, as a result of my previous time and experience in China and Southern Africa, and have a strong personal passion for business and economic policy issues as they relate to Africa. I am fluent in French, Shona and Zulu, and have professional proficiency in Portuguese and basic Mandarin. - With my strong background in finance, business analysis and emerging markets, I am interested in opportunities to drive growth and strategy in emerging markets, and particularly in Africa. - I completed an international MBA with Hult International Business School in Shanghai in 2013, and worked in Shanghai for a year thereafter, gaining valuable insight into the Asian market. I have the leadership skills and credentials to steer and manage a team, and I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity. My long term goals are to become a respected business leader and leading authority on economic and governance policy formulation in Africa. I also aspire to pursue an Economics PhD programme in the long term.
