I am a skilful and innovative Mechanical engineering technician with a proven track record in actively learning and applying engineering skills since graduating with a national Diploma in 2013. I am a team player, I’m not resistant to change and I present ideas effectively. I have over 7 years of experience in Mechanical engineering and have been recognised by ECSA as a professional Engineering Technician and my engineering work included the following; Mechanical maintenance, Shutdown planning, Capital projects (gearboxes, Hydraulic systems), product development (structural profile designs), Advance machining (Milling, turning and wire cutter) and Contractor management. I am well exposed to the Occupational Health and safety act OHS Act 85 of 1993. I have worked in the following plants; Desalination plant (Steam plant for boiler supply), Water treatment plant (industrial water supply to the works) and Hot-rolling mills. I have also worked extensively with external stakeholders in developing new products in the hot-rolling sector.
