I am a recent http://www.******.*** graduate, who is fully aware of the culture, structure and procedures of the psychology profession, has a good understanding of how to build a good professional relationship with clients & enhancing their psychological wellbeing, easy going by nature. Currently looking for an opportunity to be part of a reputable organization. I have the following skills: Counseling skills, report writing, research skills, computer skills (word, power point, excel), I have knowledge in the different methods of therapy, psychopathology knowledge, trauma and treatment methods, assessment and evaluation, developmental psychology, all round knowledge on ethics of the HPCSA psychological board and in counseling. I am looking for an opportunity to use the knowledge and competencies that I obtained from my studies as well as gaining more knowledge and enhance my competencies in the field of psychology. During my internship/ 720 hours practical's, I had the opportunity to be part of an organization called ACDISA (Applied counselling and development institute of south africa) where I provided supportive therapy and psycho-education in both individual and group setting at (Eersterust welfare organization for the aged, Tshwane rehabilitation centre) as well as SANCA Castle Carey as a student registered counsellor. I volunteered at Itsoseng clinic (vista) providing short-term counseling. I worked as a registered counsellor at Psychwell from September 2017 until June 2018 where I provided psychological assessment and report writing for medico-legal. I also worked as a registered counsellor at Moloisane-Ledwaba Psychological Services where I provided psychological assessment and report writing for medico-legal, scholastic assessment and provided short-term counseling. I perceive this employment opportunity as a significant advancement in my career.
