A recent graduate with Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Sciences and Computational Applications from the University of Witwatersrand. I have a good understanding of the fundamentals of computer science and core programming concepts, of which I would love to use in a work environment. Coding is interesting to me because most of the time code is not the difficult part, the difficult part is usually the analytic part were you have to find a solution before you can write any code. The other good side is that there is a lot of learning material online which is free and helpful at times, most development tools are well documented which makes it more convenient to learn or use them correctly. Accomplishments: Archived First class certificates for Software Design Project, Basic Computer Organisation, and Introduction to Algorithms and Programming. Participated in the regional rounds of International Collegiate Programming Contest for three consecutive years from 2016 till 2018. How I Keep My Skills Sharp Currently, am a member of the Wits Competitive Programming group (we participate in 'Hackathons' which are open to university students) and the Facebook Developer Circle: Johannesburg. I take Udemy courses in my free time, as this helps me become a better developer since it gives me a chance to explore new development technologies and enhance my current skills.
