After working for three years in Facilities Management, I became proficient in using software such as SAP and Microsoft Office while I became adept at handling administrative tasks using Outlook email and the telephone. Moreover, working in a high pressure stressful and deadline driven accounts payable department trained me to build relationships within a team while also being an independent and proactive individual who can manage one’s own work. I excel at the following: • Processing financial data from large volumes of invoices from suppliers. 840 as a Data Capturer and 330 as a Creditors Clerk. • Monthly reconciling of 340 accounts worth a book value 11 million ZAR • Overseeing the payment process of over 1000 accounts per month worth a book value of 20 million ZAR. • Assisting the Team Leader and Financial Manager with month-end reporting of balance sheet items and recons • Prioritising ad-hoc requests and tasks from the client as well as key internal role players In addition to my work experience I am also currently pursuing my studies in a Bachelor of Commerce Economics degree with University of South Africa which I intend to complete use to further my career in corporate finance and grow my skills in accounts receivable, bank, cash management and the reporting skills in trial balance, income statement and balance sheet.
