During my high school holidays I would seek work to pass my spare time. Prior to completing matric I was given responsibilities of packing shelves, helping customers on the floor and later I learned how to be a cashier; at Bargain Basket pinetown. Upon completing matric and getting accepted into DUT to study ICT Business Analysis, i got another offer to work during my second semester break. I was appointed to work under a manger in an office and help with the creation of online orders. The skills I picked up at Bargain Basket pinetown/ Office National pinetown were: Assisting of customer queries via calls and in the shop. I also gained work experience using excel and getting the opportunity to see how a system is used and manged in the workplace; which is a part of my studies. I'm currently a second year student and my interests are reading, shopping, trying out new recipes, learning about new tech and how what I learn is integrated in the actual work spaces. I've recently learned about freelancing and would love to try it out whether in my field of study or not, to broaden my minset and grow as an individual.
