I am a determined, energetic, self driven commercial drone pilot. I began my flight training in 2014 at Blue Chip Flight School flying Cessna 172 Skyhawk manned aircraft. I was forced to put my training on hold due to costs so I enrolled into Rhodes University in 2016 where I obtained a degree in Economics and Psychology. Once my studies were completed I began trying to find my way back into the aviation industry. I obtained my RPL and was fortunate enough to find a job flying drones for private security where I have been since. In this time I have operated in Limpopo, in Johannesburg, and in Mpumalanga flying survey flights, patrol and crowd control missions, and test flights for marketing purposes. I believe my experience flying manned aircraft offers me a unique reverence for duty of care in terms of aviation regulations. I see the delivery of excellence as a matter of safety; and I see the consistent delivery thereof to be a core part of my duty. I also believe that my studies in psychology allows me to work cohesively in a team setting; and that my studies in Economics allow me an insight into behind the scenes fiscal realities experienced by a company.
