My career within the Retail industry spans over a 35 years period. Overall responsibility of day to day commercial operations and management of retail outlets. Driving of sales and services, and throughout the store. Ensure high standard of Merchandising. Training and development and motivation of staff to achieve departmental target and goals. Manage and control stock holdings, liaison with suppliers, planning of seasonal events and preparation of bi-annual stock take. My strengths include the ability to liaise effectively at all levels, strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with being a pro-active problem solver who is deadline driven. I am customer focussed and enjoy building long-term customer relations by interpreting customer needs.
