January 2021 Application for employment I am an Honours in Organisational Psychology graduate from Rhodes University. I am currently seeking an entry level opportunity to what will be a successful career in everything under Organisational Psychology. The most valuable characteristic that I offer is my faith and belief that I can achieve any task that is given to me, not merely ticking the boxes, but rather challenging myself to push boundaries and offering greatness. I believe the Human Resource position offers just that. My name, Relebohile Makhetha, I am 23 years old and I am the only female child amongst my siblings as well as being the middle child and as they say it “I bring peace”. I believe that is just what I impose on every environment or challenge that I find myself in. While calm in aura, I am very robust in my engagement with tasks and projects I am assigned to. One of the beliefs that aid me in pushing boundaries is that of understanding that, I serve a bigger purpose than myself, whether it be the organization that I play a role in or the world at large, I believe my input is for the greater good of everyone. I am a true leader at championing the cause aligned to the mission and vision that is committed to the teams and individuals I work with. Through therapy I’ve learned the importance of self-awareness and further understanding and initiating interpersonal relationships within professional groups as this serves as a foundation for a conducive work environment. Growing up in a family with 2 siblings has taught me the effectiveness of communication and collaboration, standing out in my strengths but still accommodating other people’s strengths equally. I am dedicated to getting the best output possible under pressured conditions. I believe I am the best candidate for the position because of my quick and broad learning skill, I can apply the knowledge I have in practical situation with a commanding thought process and work ethic. Problem solving is something that I see as an art more than a task, as it is something where I can apply my vast set of opinions and creativity when using my knowledge. I am highly analytical, and I am able to pick data apart to understand it in its entirety. My underdeveloped entrepreneurial skills however are the thing that sets me even further apart from other candidates. Although I will be serving as an intern in the program, I do see myself breaking boundaries and becoming a valuable asset to the company through the leading through the brand. I have the ability to understand what the client wants to the very last detail, while unwavering on representing organizations vision. This is an opportunity I would take with all my might and I would seize the moment wholeheartedly.
