I had been working in administration for the last four years since graduating from high school and I love it. I’m currently studying a business administration course at a university level while looking for a part-time online job. I was responsible for our claims department management and also worked closely with our managing director on running our daily operations, which was challenging yet rewarding. Previously, I spent two years learning and mastering English communication skills at school to be well adapted in South African culture after moving from Syria. That was a great experience. I was thrilled by learning English yet I was struggling in Biology and English Literature classes. I had graduated with an average of 72%. I loved how every day was a bit different and I got to work with great people who had a lot to teach me about South African culture. I also participated in some creative competitions during schooling as I realized how much I loved the creative side of literature and wanted to get some experience. I wrote an article that was featured in the school magazine and went live on the radio. I was also interviewed for telling my story on another radio channel. Although I like my qualification, at this stage of my career, I realised I need to find a flexible job where I get back on track with writing abilities and I think this project would be a great fit for my skills and goals.
