Self-taught graphic designer and photographer with over three years experience working in part-time jobs and freelance. In three years I've generated a total net profit of R52 000, on my own through sales, marketing and dozens of elevator pitches, anywhere I saw an opportunity. — Work as a freelance graphic designer required sourcing leads, cold calling, and pitching ideas as clear and concise as possible, which often meant creating print media like pamphlets, business cards etc and creating content specifically for the web and social media. — Having a natural inclination to plan, organise and connect created an advantage as a photographer, cause often times I had to organise models, scout a location, and schedule shoots, all while maintaining communication with all personnel. — In addition to an exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, I took taught myself how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, and now have an intermediate-to-advanced skill level. I enjoy the challenge of building and growing a professional organization. Opportunities and potential are of paramount importance. I would be most pleased to discuss with you how I would quickly duplicate thses successes and build on them.
