I am a 26-year-old lady who grew up in Welkom. I finished high school in 2011 and started my tertiary education career in 2012. I have a bachelor’s degree where I had a double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of the Free State. I also have an honors degree in Chemistry and I am currently doing my MSc. in nanochemsitry which I should be finished within the upcoming months. During my time at the University of the Free State, I have learned quite a lot of laboratory applications such as GC, GC/MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, NMR, PXRD, TEM, and many others and basic laboratory skills. I was also given the opportunity to work as a laboratory assistant alongside an MSc. Organic chemistry student in 2015. I was also given the opportunity to work as a tutor for second and third-year organic chemistry students in 2017 and for physical chemistry in 2019. For the past two years I have been focusing on my MSc. Degree which is based on making ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 as supports for anticancer drug delivery application and have been very successful so far. Additionally, I enjoy working with like-minded people and I am ready to take on the challenge as a lab analyst in your company as I have always been interested in working there.
