My name is Nzuzo Khumalo and I have completed my BSc Stream (LES) at University of KwaZulu-Natal. My majors are microbiology and chemistry. I am particularly interested in chemistry expression systems and the rapidly advancing field of microbiology and its endless potential. I have gained experience using standard laboratory techniques and procedures (such as streak plating, spread plating, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA extractions etc.) throughout my undergraduate degree during the practical components of my modules. I am a loyal and dedicated person who enjoys gaining new knowledge and skills. I am also a meticulous person and have a keen eye for detail. My hobbies include soccer, chess, hiking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
