My name is Ntombikayise Dube. I recently completed my MSc in Civil and Environmental degree with the University of Witwatersrand. I am a highly motivated individual who is eager to advance and search for ground-breaking methodologies to solve civil engineering problems. I am passionate about the nature of engineering projects and project management. I adapt effortlessly to any working environment and I am willing and eager to travel to any part of the world at any given time. I am currently working with the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF) as a part-time junior engineer where team work is very important for the success of all the projects that are carried out. The teams comprise of large groups of experts from various countries. My time as an intern at CRIDF has enabled me to appreciate the new technologies and methodologies used to solve engineering problems, particularly water-related problems, efficiently considering the impacts of climate change to poor communities in drought zones. Working in a challenging environment has exposed me to situations where I worked for long hours so as to meet deadlines and I have also benefited from working with experts from diverse cultures and nationalities.
