Academically I obtained a B-Tech Degree in Local Government Finance which has played a very vital role in my career path. Growing up I had a keen interest in the smooth running on administration of public Sector Funds hence I opted Public Sector Finance as an area of interest as far as career is concerned. I had an opportunity to work as Intern at Provincial Treasury Western Cape Government: Public Finance Directorate as Revenue and Expenditure Analyst which contributed positively in my career in terms of practical analysis and its relevance to our socio-economic conditions. I further extended my practical knowledge, understating and importance of sound financial administration at a District Municipality within the province as Chief Expenditure Clerk, through such exposure and experience I obtained finer practical understanding and knowledge on the correlation of sound financial administration with Growth and Development of our local communities, ability of Public / Private Sector Finance institutions in providing and rendering efficient and service effective service delivery Currently I am holing a position of a Finance Officer: Accounts Payables at Cape Peninsula University of Technology which has also extended my experience and understanding of sound financial administration mostly on the realization of intended objectives and sustainability of an organization, its ability to carry out and to fulfil its mandate and deliver on its objectives.
