My name is Nomonde Khuzwayo, best described as a decisive, rational, confident individual. I enjoy long-term planning through organisation and a good challenge that puts me in a position where I can fix or produce work. I am a well-informed, well-read individual that loves to keep in the know and constantly learn new things. I am a very charismatic, easy going team player and like to stratergise by visualising the end goal and working backwards to work as efficiently as possible. I was raised in the Pinetown area and schooled at Westville Girls High School, a school known for its continuous 100% pass rate. There I learnt how to articulate myself well and stay professional and persistent in all that I would love to achieve. I furthered my studies at DUT studying Town and Regional Planning as I really wanted to advocate for the less fortunate and play a role in development and the processes included. I have come to love Town Planning for its diverse nature and ability to guide development from start to finish. I completed my Btech in 2016 where it was obvious I was good at report writing and enrolled in Project Management at Mancosa in 2017 to learn how to handle projects on a big scale, understand the way others and myself can function cohesively while learning to work around my weaknesses with the hope that one day I will become a leading manager at a leading firm. I am currently studying towards my Masters in Town and Regional Planning at DUT to further my knowledge and my career goals. Along the way I have picked up AutoCad advanced training and GIS ESRI training to add to my diversity. I am planning to register for South African Council for Planners to become a professional planner by years’ end. I am also looking into applying to become a GIS technician with the South African Geomatics Council soon, and apply with the Project Management South Africa board to certify that I am competent and able to provide various works at a good calibre. I would be a great asset to your company as I have the drive and the will to overcome any obstacle in my way. Where I fall short, I have the persistence to learn fast and improve myself as effectively as possible. I will work towards being as organised as possible to ensure I stay one step ahead and above the water.
