I'm a registered GIS professional with 9 years' experience, especially in the consulting and engineering environment. I have worked on several multidisciplinary projects that involved, among others, environmental planning, traffic and transport engineering and water engineering. Clients I have worked for range from government departments on all levels, state owned agencies and private companies. I mainly work on projects based in South Africa, but I have also worked on projects based in the rest of Africa, the Middle East and Europe. My education includes an undergraduate degree in Geography and a Master's degree in Geoinformatics. I have experience in the ESRI suite of products, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including their extensions. I also have experience in QGIS. I have worked with ArcGIS Server. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and have experience with other Office products. I also have knowledge in spatial databases and remote sensing. I have a keen interest in spatial data, remote sensing and other related fields, and I am excited by the applications thereof. I like to discover interesting ways of using spatial data to find solutions to problems.
