I am a metallurgist by profession, with over 20 years of experience in minerals processing with particular interest in operation and process design of platinum, base metals, iron ore, gold and heavy minerals concentrator plants. The first years of my career were spent as a metallurgist in the platinum/PGM concentrator plant. I then moved to the equipment supply industries. There I worked with design and mining houses to find working solutions to their sedimentation and dewatering needs. My experience thus spans from plant operation, equipment supply, managing the process design of mineral processing and gold extraction plants including commissioning all the way to plant handover.
