I have worked as a volunteer at Career Services Volunteers program at the University of the Free State, working on career related issues to assist students in developing a positive mindset about the world of work. Through the volunteering program in Career Services, I have advanced knowledge in recruitment processes, CV writing and mock interviews. I also learnt how to successfully organize career fairs exposing students to different career ventures. Hence, this experience afforded me a well-rounded skillset including time management and socialization. I am well acquainted with presentations and I acquired computer skills such as MS word, MS excel and MS PowerPoint. I have also acquired organisational skills and collaborative skills.
