Neil has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry; an Operations Management qualification; MBA from GIBS; and is a Six Sigma Black Belt practitioner. He has also completed foundation courses in Business Analysis, Project Management and Agile (scrum framework). Neil has many years of experience in multiple disciplines. Some of Neil’s recent experience includes six sigma black belt projects, business process improvements, continuous improvements, business process mapping/modeling/engineering(current/future state), value chain analysis/creation, corporate metrics development & monitoring, lean training/implementation, process quality control as well as project management and senior/executive management. He has also consulted in the areas mentioned above. His early work experience includes chemical instrument & wet analysis, laboratory and production management as well as finding technical solutions within the manufacturing and services sectors. Neil has also gained expertise in the public sector as his experience is vast and he is agile and diverse in his offering. He has proven success in managing chemical related R&D projects; deploying technical and transactional business improvement projects. He has also identified and prepared business cases for robotics process automation during gap analysis exercises. Neil is highly skilled in business process mapping/modelling, standard operating procedures, lean implementation, operations management, strategic and business analysis, process analysis, setting up and deploying business process centres of excellence, six sigma and process data analysis.
