I am an experienced post articles audit clerk with three(3) years experience. I trained at the office of the Auditor General where I was assigned to various audit engagements on the Local, Provincial and National spheres of Government. The highlight of my training contract was my secondment to audit one of the biggest State Owned Companies, The South African Post Office SOC LTD Group. During this training, I gained a wealth of experience of the audit process and I enjoy harnessing audit efficiencies through efficient and effective audit planning to ensure a high quality audit performed in a reasonable amount of time. As a result of the different audit engagements I was assigned I developed a passion for Asset Management and Accounting, particularly Financial Instruments and Property, Plant and Equipment. Assets are the pillars of every entity. I believe that accounting and managing assets should be done in an efficient manner that is easy to follow and clearly aligned to the relevant standards and legislation. I have sound knowledge of the following accounting standards: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Generally Recognised Accounting Practice Modified Cash Standards. I also have sound knowledge of the following legislations: Public Finance Management Act Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act Municipal Finance Management Act Municipal Systems Act Value Added tax Act Income Tax Act. I have Advanced Computer Literacy Skills and also sound understanding of the following computer Systems: CaseWare Pastel MS Office Teammate Audit Software SAP I am a hard worker and I can also work under pressure. I am a fast learner and I also enjoy playing around with computer systems and as such, I believe that I can grasp the principles of any computer system used for financial reporting quickly and be able to produce good quality end products. I am willing to relocate to any location within South Africa.
