I am a student at Eduvos (Pearson Institute of Higher Education) currently completing my 3rd year of a BSc Biomedicine degree. I have achieved multiple distinctions. In the laboratory, I have cultured different microorganisms (fungi and bacteria) on different growth media using techniques such as streak plate method and gram-staining. I know how to use and observe specimens under a compound microscope (oil immersion objective) and a stereoscopic microscope. I know how to apply DNA analysis techniques, such as polymerase chain reaction, gel electrophoresis and western blotting, this knowledge I gained while completing a molecular biology module.
