During my 30 years within the Healthcare sector, I have gained much experience which includes: • nursing / patient care (Greys Hospital / Ethekwini Hospital and Heart Centre) • medical administration • user support • billing, ICD 10 coding, LOINC, materials management • end-user training • project coordination .In each of these roles I have confidently and successfully interfaced with Pathologists, healthcare Providers, Patients and all levels of Staff. I conduct myself with honesty and integrity both in and out of the workplace. In addition, I have a passion for healthcare as I have the opportunity to assist those in need. I strongly believe that this includes helping both physically and emotionally – which I am able to achieve through my empathetic and loving nature. This passion is not limited to the Healthcare sector, but permeates- and extends into my daily life which includes: • volunteering and raising funds for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation, The Cows, CANSA and Pink Drive • sponsored open water swimming events • participating in fun-runs which assist in raising awareness .I am able to work either day or night shifts.
