Marita Degener has been in the events and production industry for 15 years. She has been Operations Manager and a Senior Events Producer at True North Events and communications for the past 4 years. She also produced the Annual Savanna Comics Choice Awards for four years running from 2013 - 2016. She has been involved in major productions in the film and television industry including international film “Leading Lady”. Marita has been contracted as a project manager to Anglo American for their Group Technical Symposium 2013 as well as the annual FNB leadership conferences for 2014/15. She was the Discovery Holdings account manager at True North Events and Communications from 2010 – 2013. Her industry experience includes everything from décor styling, logistical and technical management, with expertise in show direction, content management, editing and overall project management.
