With the qualification that I have obtained I am able to work in a variety of fields in the business world. The qualification involves management of information in administrative, financial, public relations, human resources, legal, e-commerce, events management, or education and training environments. I have training and experience in working on the Microsoft Suite, which include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Project. I have basic knowledge of Financial Accounting and Pastel. These two components formed a big part of the course that I have studied. I have worked at the Department of Transport and Public Works in the Government as an Administrative Assistant in their Human Resource and the Supply Chain Department in 2015 and 2016 during my studies. This is where I developed people skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. I started to do voluntarily work in May 2015 at Our Little People Pre-Primary School in their Administrative department and on occasions I helped the Grade R teacher with her tasks which includes teaching them numbers and letters. In February 2017. I started my Internship at Koinonia Youth Development Centre as their Receptionist and Admin/Financial Assistant. After working for an Art Gallery in 2018, I started working at Network Collections in June 2018 as a Call Centre Agent/Tracer in their debt collections department. In December 2018 I started a seasonal Contract with Dew Crisp as a Document Controller in their Logistics/Dispatch department which ends 31 March 2019. The duties that I was performing at Dew Crisp were Booking Woolworths Trucks, Send and Receive emails, Generating Invoices, Draft Loading sheets, perform truck check lists, debrief drivers each morning, Filing, Batchlistings, Update daily Dispatch/Logistics Dashboard and other Adhoc tasks. On the 8th of April 2019 I started at Outsource-Logistics T/A Mentfield SA as a Financial Administrative Assistant in the Sales and Finance department. The duties that I am performing at Outsource-Logistics is, Capturing Supplier invoices as well as generating invoices on the Sage Pastel System, Reconciliation of monthly accounts, send and receive emails, drafting of costing sheets and quotations, filing documents, operating the switchboard and reception duties, taking stock, buying office supplies and stationary.
