Dear Recruiter, my name is Mamoise Mabuza. I am 27 years old based in South Africa. I am looking into a career change from administrative roles to Program Management. In 2019 I completed an NQF Level 5 South African National Certificate in Technical Support and worked at one of South Africa’s big banks. My career took a sharp turn thereafter. My manager at the time asked me to join her in the office as an administrator. I enjoyed my line of work as I had no major interest in technology. My days consisted of planning and organizing callouts for technicians and providing feedback to clients while maintaining SLAs and customer retention. I then moved to an investment firm where I worked as a front desk receptionist where administrative tasks were my key roles. I provided the executive team with personal assistant when the need came. I have now moved to my second investment company as a full-time personal assistant for the CEO of an investment company. With my current role being of a personal assistant. My job specification has now moved far away from administration, organizing, and following through planned work while dealing with challenges along the way which I found to be less fulfilling. I would like to get back into a role that challenges me to reach my highest potential where I have an opportunity to apply my knowledge working with clients in critical thinking, organizing, and problem-solving.
