My final project in the organization (SASSETA) was especially impressive, an investigation of compliance in line with relevant policies governing the SETA discretionary Grant, awarding of contracts, irregular versus regular and fruitless and wasteful expenditure plus adherence to the skills development ACT and skills development levies ACT, the Public Finance Management Act with other relevant legislations on Higher Education and Training. I am a strong leader and eager to learn new skills. My personal strengths are as impressive as well as my intellectual accomplishments. I am an active individual and would precisely display an outgoing presence in OUR organization, with a great sense of humor. I am the perfect person to get a group project rolling, also know how to sit back and let others take the lead. I must mention that in the three and half years (3.5), I have been acting at SASSETA as the Acting HoD: Projects/Learning Programmes, the annual revenue for SASSETA had increased as compared to the 2014/15 in 2016/17. While some of this increase related to annual inflation, there had also been an increase in interest and buy in from stakeholder and this has increased SASSETA revenue. Then the non-financial performance of SASSETA based on the submitted Annual Performance Plan over the last four years, provided a performance as provided below: • Thirty-eight (38%) percent in 2014/2015 – this was prior to my Acting Capacity • Then it progressed to sixty-four (64%) percent in 2015/2016 first year • Then eighty-one (81%) percent in 2016/2017 the second year • Then eighty-three (83%) percent in 2017/2018 the third year. • Over this period of three and half years (3.5), at SASSETA as the Acting HoD Projects/Learning Programmes in regards to Discretionary Grants, we received an unqualified audit opinion on (2015/2016, 2016/2017 & 2017/2018) and in the financial year 2018/2019 we received a clean audit. • A tremendous improvement in relation to the non-financial performance during my three and half years (3.5), as the Acting HoD: Projects/Learning Programmes with the overall performance seating at ninety-two (92%) percent for the very first time in 2018/2019 since the establishment of SASSETA.
