As a researcher in the metallurgical engineering field, I have a strong background in research skills, analytical skills, use of Microsoft Office package, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, attention to detail, and technical skills. My research focuses on development of biocompatible metals and alloys for biomedical applications. I have published a paper on Additive Manufacturing of Titanium-Based Alloys for Bone Scaffold Application, and I had the opportunity to attend various conferences, especially in the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, which greatly harnessed both my research and presentation skills. My goals as a researcher are to advance in the knowledge of biomaterials, contribute to the scientific and engineering community my means of publications, solve problems that are practical in this field, develop new theories and find ways to generate new insights in the field of engineering as a whole.
