. I have five years’ experience of working in academic, specialised and national libraries. I hold an honours degree in Library and Information Studies. I am computer literate, with general knowledge of MS Office Programs such as (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Outlook). I am currently working at the Human Science Research Council (HSRC) as a Metadata librarian. My responsibility includes assisting the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State to create a legal library. And to Create bibliographic records of documents, transcripts and video recordings using an augmented Dublin Core metadata schema. I also worked at the National Library of South Africa as a Metadata Librarian (Contract) from November 2020 to December 2021. My responsibilities include being responsible for recording metadata materials using Contentdm, compiling of biographic and description of new items, Recording and compiling of old digitized Library material under the digitization project. I also worked as a Graduate Librarian under the Graduate Development Programme at the National Library of South Africa (Contract) from October 2017 to September 2020. The graduate programme offered me an opportunity to work in all core programmes of the library namely: Information Access (Reading room, Reference, and interlibrary loan services), Bibliographic Services and Collection Management (BSCM), Preservation and Conservation and Centre for the book. I also worked at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) providing literature searches for researchers.
