I am a qualified and experienced engineering professional with specialist pedigree in Welding, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. I possess 13 years’ experience in the, petro-chemical, mining, engineering, manufacturing, and power generation and construction industries. I bring strong management ability and experience and developing people is one of my strengths. Other strong points that I bring with me is my ability to understand and carry out all Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Welding Requirements which also include NDT , DT and Heat Treatment in the various sectors as per design and code requirements. I have all round administration capabilities with project management competencies. My specialist knowledge includes Piping; Pressure Vessels; Tanks, Structural steel– new Fabrications, Site Installations and maintenance. I have qualified welding procedures and personnel to international codes; specifications and standards. I have being involved in the implementation and certification of the following ISO standards – ISO 9001; and ISO 3834 (welding specific) I have a proven record of leading and managing teams within the welding and quality areas. I have worked with companies through projects and supply inspections such as SASOL, KENTZ, GEA, ALSTOM, HITACHI, SANRAL, GE, GLTA, and DBT SPX, STEVAL. I have also worked with the following standards and codes ASME, BS EN, AWS, API, ISO, and SANS standards
