I’m writing this to express my interest in the Human Resources/Industrial Psychology Internship. I am a Bcom Honours in Industrial Psychology student seeking a challenging, yet a rewarding internship, which is why I was drawn to this exciting opportunity. I am eager to put all my previously learnt knowledge with regards to Human resources and Industrial Psychology into practice. My qualification has prepared me for duties within the Human Resources field as it involved basic information on the Human Resources field in South Africa, the Legislation related to human resources, all the Human Resources practices and Future Trends to mention a few. I have realised the HR is an ever- evolving field that encourages continuous learning and a wide range of skills. For the modules Analytical Techniques, Human Resources, management, and Business Management, an understanding of the industry and how it functions was essential. These were fascinating and very stimulating for me as I was never exposed to any working environment. I don’t have prior working experience on administrative duties or duties related to Human Resources, but I believe my educational background has equipped me with the skills and understanding of the broad spectrum of Human Resources that I will be able to apply in a working environment, believe I have an urge to succeed in every aspect of the working environment and as a result I put my head and my heart into anything I pursue. To buy off time and to ensure that i gain more knowledge, skills and abilities, I am currently working in retail as a Sales Associate for an Australian clothing brand., even though this is not really in line with my studies or what id like to venture into which is Organisational and Industrial Psychology. Please accept my enclosed resume and feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I appreciate your time and your consideration.
