With leadership being my and an eager-to-learn persona, Public Speaking and Debate were an obvious choice. Collaborating with Vusi Thembekwayo during his 1064 Global Tour shares almost the same sentiments as being a delegate to the 2018 National Youth Summit and being part of the committee to create the first Children's Manifesto in South Africa. All this began back in grade 9 when I would volunteer to teach children from and around Mapetla the skills I would learn in my personal capacity using Sci-bono resources. At times these skills were not necessarily ones I knew but rather tutorials found on YouTube with the help of platforms like StackOverflow and GitHub. Being Chairperson of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund's Efeng Batcha Youth Advisory Board resulted in me networking with other change and leadership agents thus fueling the already existing zeal in me. A reasonable section of my leadership skills came from the role I played at church (Sunday School to be a tad more specific) as it involved representing all Sunday School Children Nationally. Not forgetting setting the record of being the first RCL President below Grade 12 and concurrently chairing two other structures at school. I have delved deeper into Software Development after not being able to secure funding for tertiary education and realising that I enjoy it (since grade 12) and have since then not looked back on IT and Leadership to improve the way of life however possible.
