Hi, I am a highly motivated, hardworking and responsible individual with a passion for science, research and clinical dietetics. I love sharing my knowledge and educating others. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics in 2015 (summa cum laude) and Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics in 2016 (with distinction). For the clinical internship, I was placed at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital (regional hospital) and Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital (tertiary/quaternary hospital). Community service was completed at a specialised obstetrical, gynaecological and neonatal hospital, namely Lower Umfolozi War Memorial Regional Hospital, in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal in 2017. I graduated with a Master of Science (Dietetics) on the 30th October 2020, titled “Hydration Status and the Prevalence of the Indications of Urinary Tract Infections amongst Day Shift Nurses, Practicing at a Private Hospital in Durban, KZN, SA”. I am currently registered as a dietitian in the category of independent practice with the HPCSA. I am well organised, attentive to detail, thorough and quality-orientated with a strong work ethic and excellent verbal communication skills. I enjoy working both independently and in a team. Personal interests include outdoor activities, particularly trail running, mountain biking and hiking. I look forward to hearing from you!
