I am a highly organised and meticulous person who possesses strong analytical abilities and is very results orientated. I am very self motivated and always ensure that the highest standards of quality and productivity are consistently maintained. I have obtained a BSc degree majoring in biochemistry and genetics; but my passion lies in biochemistry for which I have also obtained a BSc honours degree. Through my honours degree I have become proficient in mammalian in vitro techniques and cell culturing based assays, with special focus on cytotoxicity assays. I also have experience with a wide variety of laboratory techniques, and I have excellent computer skills. I strongly believe that the most integral functions of any job are effective communication, the ability to be a team player and most importantly to always, always put the customer first. I also believe that it is of the utmost importance, especially when you are in the field of science, to always strive to gain knowledge and keep current with new advancements.
