I obtained my LLB degree in 2018. In 2019 I started my articles of clerkship at a firm based in Cape Town CBD. As the firm focused mainly on one area of law, I felt I needed to find a new firm that would offer more exposure to various fields of law. At the end of October 2019, I indeed did find a firm that could offer this and so I commenced working there at the beginning of November 2019. However, it has now become apparent that practising law in the traditional sense is not a life that I want for myself. I would like the opportunity to make a new path. Why I would be the right person for the position: Seven adjectives to describe myself; loyal, honest, integrity, determined, persistence, reliable and positive. These are characteristics that I exhibit both personally and professionally. I take pride in everything that I do, from small and seemingly mundane tasks to larger, more important tasks that require a different level of care. I want a different path for myself and therefore I am willing to work hard for it.
