I'm a producer with an Honours degree in Film and more than 10 years of experience in film, TV and video. I've worked in many capacities from researcher and scriptwriter to editor. I've produced projects ranging from corporate videos and sports promos to doccies and narrative content. In the current affairs realm, I researched, wrote, and produced several inserts for Carte Medical and Consumer. One notable project took me right into the heart of a Rift Valley Fever outbreak – a zoonotic disease that claimed many lives as it rapidly swept across South Africa.  I was recently commissioned by the Friedrich- Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit to produce a slate of short films to coincide with the organisation's campaigns to raise awareness about social issues facing sub- Saharan Africa. The stories ranged from the violent crackdown on journalists in Zimbabwe to police corruption in South Africa.
