I have been the travel focal point and administrator for the United Nations World Food Programme, managing and coordinating travel requirements for managerial to executive members of the team. I have been involved with event management and coordination of high-level conferences, regional workshops and off-site working sessions. I was also contracted as the programme associate for United Nations Education, Science and Cultural Organisation where I report directly to the Regional HIV and Health Education Advisor. My role was to support UNESCO’s technical work in the area of HIV and Health Education for Eastern and Southern Africa. I am started off with my current employer, who focuses on implementing business technology solutions as a project coordinator. I was based at one of our very strategic clients for approximately 2 years where I assisted in the implementation of predominantly VENA and SharePoint projects. My current role is that of a project manager, which I thoroughly enjoy as I love getting things done. My skill set is broad, and I have experience and expertise in administration, material development, project management, budgets, sales and relationship management. I also have excellent interpersonal skills and always strive to foster relationships with internal and external clients in order to work with and through people to achieve best results.
