I am an accomplished Senior IT Project manager with over 29 years of experience in Project Management based in Centurion, South Africa. I have managed projects in the Defence industry, Manufacturing industry, R&D Telecoms, Low power electronics, Power generation and the ICT Industry. During the last 19 years, I was primarily responsible for managing projects in the IT Industry, where the emphasis was on deployment & implementation of ERP Platforms & Applications, Systems Integrations, Migration of systems (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) & workloads to Hybrid & Private clouds (Azure, AWS & IBM cloud) and also the bespoke development of Application systems in a dynamic and fast paced financial services environment, following SDLC and AGILE methodology & approach. During this project delivery I also was involved for assisting in formulating the Business Case (Pre-Sales), Design & Deployment of complex and customised ERP systems (using Microsoft Dynamics AX (all modules) platform and Sage X3/X3 People/CRM platforms), which involved development, configuration and the deployment while ensuring the team adhered to sound project governance principals during these installations. This process also involved managing a diverse range of stakeholders and vendors across core businesses and technologies, where I also chaired the Project Steer Co’s with all stakeholders and ensured management feedback and visibility of Cost, Quality and performance was ensured so that projects came in on/under budget, time and quality. Post project delivery, I was also instrumental and responsible for on-boarding and managing high value SLA’s with Clients, providing specialised ongoing support and Service Management (performance & evaluation metrics) so as to achieve or exceeding SLA KPI’s, while ensuring core service/support and performance metrics was achieved. I am committed to continual personal development and in doing so am busy finalising Master Cloud Architect (AWS & Azure) certification to enable my knowledge in managing deployment and migrations to various cloud providers. I also have achieved my Certification as a Sage Technical Consultant, Certified MSP with MS Sure step 2012, Prince 2, PMP Certification, CSM and ITIL v3 certification. Currently I am seeking opportunities to align and further my skill sets in Project Management and to consider any challenging position where all my skills and experience can be used to a positive effect.
