Dear Sir/Maam, I have obtained my Certificate in International Trade (2015), Certificate in Freight Handling (2016), and Certificate in Shipping practice (2017) at the SA Maritime School and Transport College. In October 2018 I obtained a CargoWise Certified Operator (CCO) certificate and CargoWise Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certificate from WiseTech Global, in May 2020 I obtained a certificate for the fundamentals of marketing from Google Digital Academy. I have matriculated in 2013 and got my driver’s license in 2014, I also have a counterbalance lift truck (Forklift) license. A little about where I started off, my first job was at Super spar at the Ballito lifestyle Centre, working in the fresh produce department in December 2011 and Dec 2012 school holiday. My second job was at Spur restaurant Ballito in Dec 2013 just after finishing matric finals, I learned good customer service skills from there. In 2014 I worked at Mr. Price Sport Ballito for 3 months as a casual and then got offered a permanent casual job at Identity Ballito, I worked there from August to February 2015. In March 2015 I was starting my first-year studies full-time and so I found a weekend job at NWJ, I worked there from February till October. I then found another weekend job at Spilhaus which I started in October 2015 and worked till October 2016. These were all part-time jobs meant for gaining experience and extra money to build my independence ever since I’ve finished school, which is why I’ve moved so much. I am grateful for all the retail/sales experience I have obtained over the years prior to my studies and getting a job in my field of study, because they aided in building my character, work ethic and appreciating the little things in life, those experiences will also help me in any industry or company I work for. In 2017 I got a job in my field of study at Bidvest Panalpina Logistics as a Client Liaison Coordinator from Feb 2017 to Nov 2018, controlling warehouse management systems (Streamline, Cargowise (Superuser) and SAP), Supervising warehouse operational work, as well as planning and coordinating local, long distance and export orders. I then got a job at Reload – Aquarius Shipping International as an Import/Export Clerk from Feb 2019 to July 2019, planning and processing Imports, Exports, over boarders, coordinating the loading/unloading of containers in the warehouse and breakbulk loading out. I currently work at Fullsail1 which is part of Sharaf shipping agency, as a Sales and Estimation Executive. I have excellent communication skills and I have good computer and system’s knowledge and I am good with Microsoft Office. I am honest and a responsible individual who intends to seek employment, gain work experience and grow in a company. I am a good team player, excellent with people and organizing skills which assist me in performing duties. I have good analytical problem-solving skills which will be of immense benefit which I have gained from my previous employments. I am always willing to take on new challenges and given opportunities to exceed expectations.
