Possessing a deep-rooted passion for automotive mechanics and the periphery technologies hereof, I work hard at tasks given and strive to grasp new concepts and technologies, interests and ethics which extend to both work and personal life. A graduate Mechatronic Engineering student from the University of Stellenbosch in Stellenbosch, South Africa. In part completion of the degree, the final-year project hereof saw through the successful design, construction, and documentation of a spark-advance meter for spark-ignition internal combustion engines. This project drew on specialised knowledge in the fields of Arduino-based systems in C++ language, AutoDesk Inventor computer design, and auto-mechanics to complete the project. Most recently employed at SSH Design in Building Services, I’ve quickly grasped the intricacies of wet services design over a short period, making extensive use of AutoDesk AutoCAD, MS Office, and referencing AutoDesk Revit to create effective and code-compliant foul sewerage, fire suppression, and potable water solutions. Having shadowed and gained experience in the various facets of the Mechatronic Engineering field, now venturing into the industry to apply the multitude of skills obtained in study and professional practise.
