I have more than 10 years experience in the Pensions and life insurance industry. My most recent job was with Vanguard Life Assurance of Malawi where I was employed as the Life and Pensions Administration Manager. I have also worked for Old Mutual Malawi Limited (as Employee Benefits Consultant) and Aon Malawi Limited (as Employee Benefits Manager). I believe that I know and understand the pension business quite well. I have the technical skills of analysis and also possess the human and conceptual needed to generate new ideas and / or improved services and products. I know the basic pension products and their features, the regulatory and legislative instruments that govern them, the basic principles that govern their administration and management, their basic reports and reporting requirements of the regulator and many other issues affecting them. I am a Licentiate Member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (LIISA).
